My name is Leslie and I’m the proprietor of the photography business Leslie G Photography.

I have had a love of all things artistic since I was very little.

I started a career path into art education in high school, and was able to take photography as well.

This is when dark rooms and film were the primary means of developing and photographing.

I continued my art path into college at ISU, again taking a photography class.

Like high school, the class was a film based course. I was able go hone my skills and artistic eye.

My degree is in drawing, but I feel like I am a well rounded artistic individual.

I made the jump to digital photography outside of college and began just doing photography in my spare time.

After I started my family, I began photographing my children and sharing the images on social media platforms.

By sharing my work, it opened the door for people to request my skills.

At first I was a little apprehensive, but most of the clients I had were personal friends or family.

I kind of stumbled into photography as a side job.

My first job is raising four kiddos.

Of course with them being photographed as much as possible.

I am also an educator and artist.

My business is mostly by referrals and word of mouth.

I find myself to be a pretty mellow and easy going photographer, and I mesh pretty well with most people.

I definitely enjoy being a part of someone’s memories by securing it forever in an image for them.

I offer a wide range of sessions: from Senior to family, wedding to infant and milestone, from real estate photos and more.

I truly enjoy photography and sharing my work with individuals, all the while testing and honing my skills always on my family.
